Once a Highlander,
always a Highlander.
Thousands of students have marched through this program. Wherever you landed, you’re still part of it, here’s how to stay connected.
The band that shaped you is still going strong, and it would love to hear from you.
Whether you graduated last spring or marched in the ’80s, the TWHS Band & Guard alumni network is a way to reconnect with old friends, mentor current students, and give back to the program that gave you so much.

The Photo Archive
Fifty years, one album at a time.
We’re scanning and preserving decades of McCullough and TWHS band history, from the ’70s drumline to last fall’s field. Relive your own seasons, or explore the eras you never marched, it’s the whole story of the program in one place. Alumni who join the network unlock the full, growing archive, and can help it grow with their own photos!

Alumni spotlights
Class of ’01Jessica (Toenjes) Allen
Band, for me, was the best combination of everything that made me, ME: music, community, leadership, challenge, fun, and a place to belong. I loved being part of something bigger than myself, sharing incredible experiences with great people, and learning from wise teachers and peer leaders.

Alumni keep the tradition funded.
The boosters fund what the school budget can’t, from instruments and travel to private master-class instruction. Alumni gifts, at any level, put today’s students on the field and maximize their opportunities.
50 for 50
Our 50th-anniversary campaign: give $50, a dollar for every year of McCullough and TWHS Band & Guard. Every 50 for 50 donor is recognized on the wall below.
The Legacy Fund
The Alumni & Friends Legacy Fund is a permanent endowment held at the Montgomery County Community Foundation. An annual gift funds the band now; a Legacy gift funds it forever.
Annual giving
Any gift, any time, is tax-deductible and goes straight to the students, travel, meals, equipment and the instruction that wins championships and perform at the highest level.

Our 50 for 50 donors
Thank you to the alumni and friends powering our 50th-anniversary campaign.
