Fundraising Programs.
Year-round ways every family can help fund a nationally competitive program, many at little or no extra cost to you.
District funding and band fees don’t cover everything it takes to compete at the highest level. Our fundraising programs close that gap, and most of them are easy to join.
Whether you shop, dine out, or just spread the word, there’s a way to pitch in. There are even programs to earn money to offset fees and trip costs.
Pick a program below to get started, or email fundraisers@twhsband.org with questions or new ideas.
Ways to Give & Earn
Our fundraising programs
Spirit Nights
Eat at a partnering restaurant on a set day and a share of every check comes back to the band. Follow us on Instagram, Facebook and the Band App to stay on top of the current Spirit Nights.
Wreath & Mulch Sales
Our fall wreath sale and spring mulch sale are program-wide favorites. Wreaths come from Sherwood Forest Farms and sales typically begin in October, arriving just in time for the holidays. Order for yourself and sell to neighbors, friends and coworkers.
Pavilion Concessions
Work a concessions stand at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion and earnings go straight to your student’s band fees. Season runs April through December.
Spirit Wear & Merch
Band tees, hoodies and spiritware for every fan. Every purchase supports the students. Shop spirit wear and wear it proud at every performance.
Corporate Matching Gifts
Many employers match charitable gifts dollar-for-dollar. Make a donation, then check your employer match to potentially double your family’s impact.
Sponsors & Community Partners
Local businesses and families can back the program directly. One-time and recurring gifts are tax-deductible, and businesses can earn real reach as Community Partners.
Kroger Community Rewards
Link your Kroger Plus Card to the band and a share of your everyday grocery spending comes back to us, at no cost to you.
Mabel’s Labels
Order personalized, waterproof labels for everything your student owns and the band earns 20% of every purchase.
Lone Star Preview
Our marching band contest brings dozens of bands to The Woodlands each fall and takes 100+ volunteers to run. It’s one of the program’s biggest fundraisers. See Lone Star Preview details.
All gifts to the TWHS Band Boosters, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
